Cornerstone Buildings

6-month migration

The challenge

Cornerstone's customers design and price their own sheds, garages and outbuildings through a 3D builder before ordering. The tool was built on legacy .NET Framework with full-page postbacks, which made every configuration change feel sluggish and made it increasingly hard to maintain across their four regional storefronts.

What we built

We rebuilt the 3D builder from the ground up as a React application, keeping their existing product API as the source of truth and redesigning the data-loading layer around it. The rebuild was rolled out region by region over six months with no downtime to any live storefront.

Product data now loads in 1.2 seconds, replacing the postback-driven .NET frontend
Rolled out across all four regions (US, Canada, UK, Germany) with zero storefront downtime

Education consultancy — international student applications

Horizon Education Consultants

The challenge

Horizon didn't have a website. Onboarding students, collecting the documents each university needed, matching students to courses and submitting applications all ran over phone calls and text messages, with no central record of where any student's application actually stood.

What we built

We built Horizon a website with a student application portal. Students are added and onboarded directly through the portal, where they submit their required documents and information. Staff add universities and courses, apply student applications against them, and track results — all from one system instead of a phone and a notepad.

Replaced phone- and message-based onboarding with a self-serve student portal for documents and information
Centralised university and course management, with applications tracked from submission through to result
Applications now move from submission to result far faster than contacting each university manually
